Just for reference most of Europe thinks this or lower is an appropriate age.
I personally don’t think its okay to have sex at 13. Period. Definitely shouldn’t be permitted, even if it’s perfectly allowed by law.

I wouldn’t necessarily have a problem with it, if you educated teenagers about sex but once you realise 13 year olds are just fucking retarded and don’t listen to a word you say, it starts to fall apart.

Plus, when I was 13, like many other 13 year olds I was the biggest horndog around.
Thankfully I was never successful but I unironically seeked sex from girls my age. I was fucking crazy.

Thoughever, I am all for the age of consent being 16. Many people I knew at the time that were 16, Including myself were very aware of the risks of sex and so on.
I don’t know how you’d regulate it but I think unprotected sex should be illegal for those under the age of 18. Again sounds retarded but do you know the amount of teenage pregnancies that happen nowerdays?

In my country age of consent is 16 but If you're over 18, any report from an underage girl will send you to jail(if you don't marry her), so adults prefer not to sleep with 16 year olds with whom they're not in a serious relationship. I think this is the way.

What country?

Like I said, in European countries there is a culture against being a pedophile despite it being legal.
I've read a theory that Americans perceive laws like Jews and Muslims perceive religious prescriptions, so when they see the age of consent as 14-16 they think that Europeans consider that age to be universally acceptable. For Europeans this approach is obscure because for them social consensus based on culture and traditions of a certain region or even city is more important than state laws.
