Maybe we can find a way to keep them barely alive and use their brains for computing or something like that. It'd be cheapest to do this if you amputate the limbs so you're not wasting effort keeping them functional.

Euthaniasia of the elderly is stupid to advocate for, because literally everyone will become old at one point if they live healthily, and thus the instinct of self preservation, one of our most deep seated instincts in humans, would result in most people, even the advocates themselves, violently opposing it if the euthanasia age is anywhere on their horizon. Advocating for it is thus a sign of poor forsight. Now there are many advocates who say they will hold themselves to that standard when the time comes. Thats bullshit. You are either lying, or mentally ill and antisocially coded enough to be fine with mass killings as a solution to the relatively minor to moderate economic hardship occuring in first world countries today, which in that case, your opinion is invalid.

2. Pull most women out of the work force
3. Make it so that marriage laws largely favor men
4. Instill hardcore religiosity in the youth
5. Make adultery illegal
6. Make abortion illegal
7. Make homosexuality illegal

The real problem that western countries are having are the absurd housing prices. There is no money or draconian law that can incentivize you to have children when you live in a cramped apartment too small to raise children in.
