May 25th, 2025: Final day of the workweek today. I woke up and had cereal for breakfast along with some coffee. I got dressed in my good pants but wore a normal shirt. The bus line I usually went on magically decided to have a skip in the schedule for the bus I usually got which resulted in me using the other bus. I walked to work from the bus stop and then clocked in to do my regular task. While I was working on the drink cooler and pushing one of the glass bottles to the front, the first one shattered and dripped juice down on all of the others. I grabbed the biggest intact portion of the bottle and brought it to the back, marked it off, and then threw it in the garbage. I got some disinfectant wipes to grab the rest of the glass shards, but one of them pierced me in my left thumb and caused some bleeding. I looked everywhere for a band aid until I checked one of the cashier’s places and found one, it was too big for my thumb and more fit for putting on a scab you got on your knee because you tripped on the curb while running. It didn’t really stay on so I fixed that by wearing a glove. I ended up seeing fAsherah and asked her why she was sick. She told me:
“I had an issue with my kidneys!”
I then continued on my sweeping task and also the cleaning upstairs task that I had. This one employee who always plays dubstep whenever he’s upstairs and packing food, he gave me a roasted sesame stick for free. When I got done with the cleaning I had to water some plants outside. I decided to hook up the hose to our power washer outside and asked Jesse if we had any extra oil for the stronger power washer that we had. He couldn’t find any and said that Will usually goes out to buy them. I decided to get lunch first and bought some new cookies. I gave fAsherah one and she liked it. While I was getting to the end of my lunch break fAsherah sat next to me while I was eating some of Bill’s soup. She asked if it was vegetarian and I said yes. I got clocked back in and got all the watering done and then power washed this entrance we had with some caked up piles of salt left over from winter. I got that removed and then just chilled for the rest of my day while trying to find work. Paula accidentally stained her white shirt which she was disappointed with. I emptied the trash for the bakery and got rewarded with a singular fry for my efforts. I had ginger beer because my stomach wasn’t feeling so good. I started on closings. I got a text from Grandma Jane of a video of her cat chirping at the birds outside her window with her saying:
<Now Katnip is talking to the birds!
When I was about to head out. I noticed this container of Strawberry Nesquik milk mix and asked Tony what it was for and he said that we made something that used it and french vanilla coffee creamer as powder for something. He asked me:
“Do you want some strawberry milk?”
But I declined. I clocked out and waited for the bus stop and this old White guy came up to me and said:
“Do you like to party?”
I declined again because I didn’t want to get multiple sexually transmitted infections or a drug addiction. I got on the bus and took it to church, I got in and did some prayers before the mass started. The presided was a 41 year old Latino priest and I gave $10 during the money distribution. Once that was done I went to the grocery store to buy some off brand soda and then took the bus home, I packed a bit more and then watched the final episode of season 2 of Severance. I loved the ending and laughed at the scene with Mr. Drummond. I took a shower and then went to sleep.
