November 17th, 2024: Woke up early for work, pretty uneventful to be completely honest but they did have my favorite flavor of this certain snack out when I was there. I left near closing time and caught the bus home. I ended up microwaving some leftover pizza for dinner and then went out to church to be an usher for this week. At the church I handed out those pamphlets to follow along for mass and Joseph gave me and a bunch of other people this blue envelope which had an invitation to his birthday party on November 24th at the social place downstairs in the church. We did the passing of the donation basket and the dropping of the money into the safe. After the mass I had stayed around for the end and the other guy being the usher told me that the reason why we did it is because 7 years ago there was this girl who was frequently an usher here, she was meticulous about fixing the books and she died of breast cancer. I then walked home after a while and worked on my computer architecture quiz and got like a 68% on it (it might be more depending on how my essay questions will be graded.) And then I went to bed.

November 18th, 2024: Another day at school, I started my day by going down to the diner for breakfast, I remember there being an older White guy wearing a Dewalt jacket and seemed like a regular diner guy. I didn't really talk to him but I ended up waving to him like once. I eventually went to my first class and did the Monday quiz, but I sadly did not get a good score on it. I then went to my second class yet didn't get the score back for my quiz I took on Thursday. When I got home from both of my classes I found such an extreme miracle so impossible it could have only been a work of God and all of His angels in heaven.
My roommate did the dishes.
I was actually excited Enosh actually did something useful for once. I ended up reading some more of the Bible before I hopped on my computer and played some Roblox, Minecraft, and Half Life. I decided to chill down by finding a relaxing city jazz playlist on YouTube and plugging this small speaker I got from this union my dad was in to play it for the first time ever and it worked!

November 19th, 2024: Today is a Tuesday so I didn’t have class until 4pm so I just spent the majority of the beginning of the day just gaming. I did complete some of my homework that was due on Wednesday before I had to go to my cybersecurity class. Right before my cybersecurity class I had this cherry flavored Rockstar energy drink and I ended up feeling pretty jittery through the whole class. After my class was done I ended up walking to the Tuesday mass and I was still feeling jittery throughout the mass, I ended up sitting next to one of the people from my Bible study and it turns out that Ashersh’s roommate was there and so was this guy who was a friend of hers that she obviously liked. The pastor gave a sermon of particular interest on Revelation 3:15-16
>15 ‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were cold or hot!
>16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth.

This passage was about how “hot” people (basically the average person who is content with their life) are less likely to be saved by Jesus than “hot” people (people who have a shitty life and don’t really have anything to look for. After that we went upstairs to have dinner and this vaguely Middle-Eastern girl touched me on the arm while directing me upstairs, I go up and find out that Ashersh decided to not come yet again and just sit with the Middle-Eastern girl, I find out that her name is Ana but she suddenly switches up and practically disregards my existence. I finish my food and leave before seeing this table full of men, including my Bible study leader, Fukuyama, Thomas, Reuben, and others. I notice that their water pitcher is a bit low so I go into the kitchen to fill it up and bring it back out to them. They all thank me and then I leave and then finish up more of my homework due tomorrow.

November 20th, 2024: Pretty busy day today. I had to deal with Enosh being loud when waking up, I eventually went to my first class where we learned more about the demonic programming language known as Prolog. After my first class, I sent out the invite to my parents for my confirmation on Sunday and they confirmed (no pun intended) that they would be able to come. I decided to just skip my second class so I could go to my work and buy some special linguine that they have for sale because it expired, it was actually pretty quick because the bus schedule lined up perfectly. I eventually continued working on my Cybersecurity homework that was due at 8pm and finished it up in time before my final class of the day. In class my partner did not show up because he had a cold, but he told me to submit the milestone thing. Once I did it, I eventually just left after the lecture and I eventually started walking to the church for men’s dinner night. It was really cold on the way but I eventually made it there. I met up with Father Malachi and helped him unload food from this van for dinner. I also saw Fukuyama but I didn’t talk to him that much. The guy that invited me to these dinner events turned out to be a priest in discerning who lives at the parish (Holy doxxerald) along with two other men discerning priesthood. We had chicken tenders and mashed potatoes along with pumpkin pie for dinner and I talked to this group of four other people, including this guy whom I will be calling Gerrardo, he said he wants to be a cop and that his World Leader high school had incidents with a bunch of fights and a pedophile teacher, which led to him wanting to become a firefighter. After the dinner we went to the Eucharistic adoration where Gerrardo sat next to me. I ended up finishing my Bible reading of Sirach and started on reading Isaiah during the adoration part. As for the mass, there were 4 priests there, including Malachi, the Tuesday mass priest, and two others, also one of the altar boys at my Tuesday mass was there. We did the normal mass thing before we all went to the social afterwards, which we could only access by going outside and then getting inside, this is important because that is how we saw that it was snowing. I got inside the social and helped people find some cups to drink out of, but nobody really was socializing with me. I got Gerrardo to talk with the Tuesday mass altar boy but that was it. I was getting kind of irritated that nobody was bothering to talk to me so I decided to set a timer for two minutes, and if the timer went off before anybody talked to me, I would leave. It ended up lasting for 10 seconds before Elizabeth came in and said:
“Hi Gemerson!”
I just ignored her, turned off my timer, and walked home in the snow; I debated heading back a few times but I was just pissed off.

November 21st, 2024: It snowed today and It looked really pretty outside, I decided to go outside of my apartment into the lobby to take a picture, I was wearing my plaid pyjamas, some fuzzy socks, and a robe with no shoes, which is when I realized that I had locked myself out of my apartment without my keys so I had to run around to the back in order to get inside, making my socks soaked and dirty. I was conversing with the girl from Texas some more when I had this conversation:
IMG_2489.jpeg

>Soyjak potential
<Is that good or bad and should I be offended?
>>Is that good or bad and should I be offended?
>[unimaginable retardation]

I continued working on my presentation due Friday, I made some good progress on it before I had to go to Bible study. At Bible study, all 7 of us, including Thomas miraculously managed to show up for this session and we dissected 1 Corinthians chapter 12, we were supposed to do chapter 13 but we ran out of time. I went to my class where I continued working on my presentation before I got back home and continued on it a bit more. I tried to call Asherah to see if she wanted to see my presentation but she didn’t answer. After some more work I headed out to this men’s night where I took some photographs (The girl who touched me on the arm on Tuesday wanted them,) and I was playing Catan with 4 other people, one person who tried to get me to be an altar boy at the Tuesday mass was playing as the brown pieces, when this dude is talking to the guy playing brown he says:
“You’re brown!”
I just cracked up laughing because of my irony poisoning from soyjak.party, thankfully I never got in trouble because everybody else found it funny, I didn’t end up winning the game sadly.

November 22nd, 2024: Another day at work, I started off by vacuuming the upstairs offices, Ignatio then asked if I could vacuum his office and I did, I asked what happened to the old vacuum for HR that we had and it turns out it was sold which sucks because it was really good. Later on we got in this order of lasagnas and I had to put them away in the freezer with the manager of my department. I ended up finding out from him that he turned 45 this year when I thought the whole time he was in his late-20s. After that I continued working on my other tasks before I completed them all at roughly 2pm, I went to the manager of my department to ask if he had any more tasks for me and he said that if I wanted to, I could go home, I did but I bought some wine that was on sale before I left because Lebanon had trouble with the discount basket being too full and I got the one he recommended. I took the bus home and then continued working on my presentation. The Texan girl posted on her Instagram story about how she and her roommates had a printout of Bella Hadid (Super skinny famous girl) in her pantry so that she wouldn't be inspired to eat at all and I called her retarded and she laughed. At 5:15pm I get picked up by Joseph to go eat dinner before my last Confirmation class meeting, I get fish fry and end up eating it all. We get there at 6:57pm and we see a bunch of people outside because the priest in charge had not opened the doors yet, but he eventually got in and unlocked them for us, we do all of our presentations, which consists of mine, then Saint Veronica, Saint Nicolas, Saint Catherine of the Wheel, Saint Augustine of Hippo, and finally Carlo Acutis. We got some cupcakes afterwards because the Saint Veronica girl brought some for us all, where me, Joseph, and the priest stayed to discuss things about Sunday. After that I went home and did some work on my computer science homework before going to bed.

November 23rd, 2024: My final day of the workweek, I got up first thing in the morning and posted my daily bible readings 'jak, I waited for the bus a bit before I got to my work, where I was mostly stocking the shelves and doing a bit of cleaning. At lunch I had gotten a large prosciutto sandwich and a soda while waiting in a really long line, just as I was about to finally ring up my order, John had to transfer registers and the people behind me decided to go in front of me, I waited more before the old manager decided to put me out of my misery and just paid for my food himself, so I saved like $11 dollars. At the end of the workday I decided to get one of those large food basket bundles that they were selling as a sort of late birthday gift for my dad and my sister. Which set me back $100 dollars. I eventually get home and nearly complete my compsci homework save for one small part.

November 24th, 2024: Really major day today, as I am getting confirmed, I woke up at roughly 6am and had some cereal for breakfast before putting on some black dress pants with a blue and white button-up and fancy black leather shoes, I made myself some coffee before having to clean out some of the dishes from the sink that Enosh refuses to deal with. Eventually at 7:45 am I get picked up by Joseph and we drive to the church where I am getting confirmed at. I find out that my reserved pew is in the front, only my mom and my dad end up showing to my confirmation, they ended up meeting Joseph and they got along pretty well; however, my dad did not seem to be that happy to be here because he is Lutheran even though I have only ever seen him go to a Lutheran church once in his entire life. The other two guys, Carlo and Augustine, were wearing suits and ties which made me feel underdressed and Catherine was wearing this fuzzy white dress. We get through the readings and the homily until in place of the confession of the Nicene creed, we got lined up in order, with me, Augustine, Catherine, and then Carlo, and we did the confession of the vows, and then I was the first one to go up to get the chrism poured on me by the priest (even though confirmation is usually done by a bishop or sometimes the auxiliary bishop,) and he poured a lot on me, which made me smell kind of good and make the top of my head look oily, some of it even dripped down the left side of my head. I remember Carlo's sponsor was wearing one of those white lace veils. Just before the presentation of the gifts, me and Augustine went together to the back around the right while Catherine and Carlo went to the left, I picked up the water and Augustine picked up the wine while the other two got the communion wafers and we all brought them up as one group. After the mass ended, we all took some pictures together before Joseph presented me with a gift he had for me, which was this necklace of the holy spirit and the cross. After that, my parents and I went over to this diner and along the way, I found out that Dad just got back from a conference for Black educators which was really weird because we're all White. The diner was pretty packed when we got there but we did get our meals without having to wait that long. The topic eventually turns to the others at confirmation, where my mom says that Carlo's sponsor seemed like one of those radtrads who wear veils at mass. My mom said that they were weird (even though she was born shortly before Vatican II) and then they start talking about how they hated Pope John Paul II for doing absolutely nothing about the sexual abuse scandals and that his promotion to sainthood was way too rushed, so I looked him up and I found this passage on his Wikipedia page:
>On March 6, 2023, an investigative report by the Polish television station TVN24 concluded that "there [is now] no doubt" that John Paul II "knew about sexual abuse of children by priests under his authority and sought to conceal it when he was an archbishop in his native Poland". The Dutch journalist Ekke Overbeek released a book on John Paul II with similar claims the following week. In response to the claims, Pope Francis stated: "You have to put things in the context of the era[...] At that time everything was covered up. [...] It was only when the Boston scandal broke that the church began to look at the problem." The Polish Episcopal Conference stated that "'further archival research' would be needed to arrive at a just evaluation of the decisions and actions" of Wojtyła.
I found out that my Mom had her patron saint be Cecilia, I asked if it was because of the Simon and Garfunkel song and she said yes. After that we left and my parents gave me their leftovers and some food (including these Polish pickles that I really liked) and I brought the food bundle I got as a gift for both my sister's and my dad's birthday, Dad agrees to take half along with the wine I got at a discount, they tell me to give the other half to Joseph for his birthday party because my sister won't be home for thanksgiving and I do that. I continued to work on vacuuming around the house before I went to Church again, but with the bag of food in tow. I sit through the mass and I notice that Thomas was there with his Indian friend who I sometimes see him with at Tuesday mass, so I decide I will give him the name Didymus, he is also from India, possibly Kerala, but I think he is new to the faith as I have never seen him go up in line to receive communion that much, and if he does, he always has his arms crossed over his chest; Didymus is taller than me and has a beard, as contrasting Thomas, who is a bit shorter than me and is clean shaven. Before heading to the birthday event where I got a good amount of food there and even got to meet the auxiliary bishop. I even got an ovation when the confirmation event was mentioned, I finally decided to head home after about 30 minutes (I made sure to get Joseph his birthday gift) and I completed my homework assignment that was due at midnight.

November 25th, 2024: Another day back in class, I had only two classes today, in the first one I had my weekly quiz which I feel like I bombed, but I luckily heard that the homework assignment wouldn't be due for quite a while instead of just the next week. I got a bit of time between my first and second classes so I decided to game a bit before heading back to campus for my second class, it ended up being boring as hell and I played a bit of SuperTux in class before I went home, I completed an entire play-through of Half Life: Blue Shift, which was fun because it basically consisted of me as Barney Calhoun (Hiberian) trying to help doctor Rosenberg (Israeli) teleport a bunch of scientists or however the headcrab is whacked with a crowbar. I eventually switch to the modded Soycraft server and end up dying multiple times because of these obsessed Chocolate Quest skeletons and bosses. I eventually try to go out and cook dinner but my roommate left a mess in the kitchen and was sitting in the living room being a waste of space, so I just decided to take the bus to Noodles and Company and get some 3 cheese tortelloni for dinner.

November 26th, 2024: Another day of not much today, I woke up first thing in the morning and had some more cereal, I hopped back on the modded Soycraft server and finally managed to get finished with taking back my items from one of those modded bosses and then got started on Tinkers Construct. After that I switched over to starting on Half Life: Opposing Force and then at 2:00 pm I decided to start studying for my cybersecurity exam which I was going to take at 4:00 pm. Once the time rolls around, I eventually get into class to find out that there was no exam and that it was actually going to be on December 3rd when we get back from break, class goes over pretty well and I get out a bit early to head over to the Tuesday mass, when I get in I don’t see that many people there, although there was an old lady whose name was Ruth. I see some people there like the leader of my Bible study group and Zephyr's possible boyfriend, who I will be calling Henry. The priest gives a homily about how when he was younger, he got caught stealing from a restaurant in a mall and grabbed by this Greek dude, the homily was about guilt because of fear versus guilt because of love. We then got dinner, which was just a bunch of pasta and we were all encouraged to have seconds because of how few of us there were and how much pasta there was. Most of us ended up sitting on this long table and my Bible study leader ended up sitting next to me, I overheard him talk about how he had tickets to see the new Wicked movie tomorrow and when he was done with his dinner, he rubbed his belly and said:
“I can’t wait to get some pumpkin pie!”
After that I walked home, took a shower, then I walked to the convenience store to buy some beer, walked back to my apartment, drank the beer, and then went to sleep.

November 27th, 2024: I had to wake up at 5:45am today for work at 7:00am which was the first time I ever woke up that early for my job, I have woken up early for my first job at a gas station. Eventually I catch the bus on the way there and most of my shift consists of helping put away a pull we just received and then stocking that part of the store. In the middle of my shift, my dad texts me asking for cheese tortacelli, I already have one bag back in my apartment but he is asking for two, so I bought another bag, I eventually took the bus home and started packing all of my laundry and sheets along with the tortacelli. Eventually I take the bus and have to deal with this old Black lady taking up the bus aisle with her shopping cart and a crying Mexican kid whose parents did nothing. I get off and walk to the bus stop, I get a slice of pizza and a can of Ultra Peachy Keen Monster Energy for $9.70 in total. Eventually my bus arrived and I hopped on, during the ride home, I read through a lot of it and nearly completed the Book of Isaiah. Once I get there I am picked up by my mom and she drives me home, but she leaves soon afterwards for book club. Dinner is just me and my father but we got to spend some time together. I even got to see my favorite cat!!!!
