Part 3 is not overwhelmingly great. It's okay, I enjoyed it, but I don't rewatch it that much.

It's the new part 3, as everyone new skips to it because of the memes and shit, so normal fans are afraid to say good things about it. I liked it, it was good, but it has an acceptable amount of praise already. If I had to say a few good things about it, I like the background music, the characters are entertaining, and it didn't feel very sluggish at all.

For the record, I'm a Battle Tendencyfag
It's literally the exact opposite? People LOVE glazing part 5.
"NORMAL" fans as in people who enjoy things casually without being annoying retards who bring it up every five seconds. Normal as in acting normal, not as in being a normie newfag. I like part five but everyone dickrides it, so mentioning how much you love it automatically makes one look like a faggot. You misunderstood me

I like that the dude who wrote it got divorced halfway through and he put all his mental problems and energy into fictional characters like every kid I picked on in middle school.
>2023 DOLL: Big Buddy
>2013 DOLL: Big Bully

I used to make fun of fans of the show because how could a show be good if the creator wants to kill himself making it? But then I watched it all and realized that it was actually a saving point of the show, because he wasn't bluepilled by love like he was writing the "reboots". The original message is that nobody is coming to save you and you aren't entitled to be saved, you have to do it yourself. But the message of the prequels is that some magical girl will come and save you so actually go ahead and avoid your problems. Also Kaworu was originally supposed to be Satan and they instead turned him into Jesus. Which is wrong.

I have grown a little over the years. Mostly abandoning my anger in favor of reclusiveness, although you can still see it come to the surface every now and then.

Prequels?
Also I met several chicks in my life that were fujoshis and fetishized the kaworu-shinji thing which was not how I interpreted it at all. I view kaworu like ET in that hes an alien trying to make a bond with someone totally different from him. Japs have a hard time making humans act like monsters unless they go in the direction of Elfen Lied, Bokurano, Re:Zero, Berserk, and other grimdark series so they lean into turning a normal guy into a supervillain over one episode which is what kaworu really was. He was useful in EoE for giving an alternative to Rei that Shinji would be comfortable with but until 3.33 many years later, he left a lot to be desired as a character. "Anywhere can be heaven as long as you choose to live" is still an awesome quote thoughbeit, one that a lot of younger people need to remember as they grow up.

The messages and themes of Evangelion were honestly my favourite part of the franchise.

The show was life-changing for me imo, and I think I've become more happier and enjoy life now.
