Why is a religions popularity evidence of its reliability? Most people who were sacrificed were criminals, foreign prisoners, slaves, invalids, only strange peoples like the Canaanites and Aztecs sacrificed their own

Extremely interesting but bizarre people. Sometimes I wonder if Aztec religion is actually true.

That's my own personal opinion, but a God who claims to be universal needs the number to prove his universality. A universal God who claims salvation through Him alone, if his followers are a grand total of 2, lacks credibility.

Now that's not the problem of pagans, who claim that all pagan gods more or less mirror each other, with exceptions. But pagans have another problem : They believe that human worship directly correlates with the existence and might, in both directions. Some pagans have in their theology the concept of collective unconscious in them, but not all. However, all pagans believe that their gods are real real, and not just symbolically speaking real, and that they can punish humans for not worshiping them, and act on societies by showing themselves and bending everyone's knee to them.

You'd think that such gods would not allow for their worship to completely vanish without extraordinary showcasing of anger, violence, cataclysm, until everyone worships them again. Yet their cult have been dead and gone for centuries, and have only been recently revived in what used to be long ago pagan states due to association to nationalism and a rejection of either Christianity, Islam, or Atheism.

Therefore, in that sense, numbers matter, because of the claims about these gods the pagans make. If ritualistic sacrifice was a common practice to keep the god happy and to keep him from unleashing xyr rage on earth and devastate everyone, yet that the second these rituals stop, nothing happens, it kinda makes you wonder yknow.

murder and rape are not the same.

Would you rather have a 100% white europe but have it be completely atheist or a 100% black europe but have it be 100% trad christian with 100% church attendance rates and such.

Aztec religion is true. Our current age was began because all the of the powerful gods were too cowardly to sacrifice themselves and become the sun. Thus a weak and sickly god, Nanahuatzin (meaning "full of sores") is our current sun. His weakness means that we are forced to sacrifice our own kin. All because of the cowardice of the gods. This world will come to an end, just as the previous one came to it's end by a great flood that destroyed the Fourth World governed by the merciful Goddess goddess Chalchiuthlicue.

The world will come to an end as this sickly sun is destroyed, it shall swallow up the whole world in hunger after being denied sacrifices for so long (Nuclear Weapons detonating from WW3). Mictlantecuhtli will take pity on the Mexica, sparing them by allowing the tribe that worshipped the old war god enter the Underworld to take refuge (this references that South America will be mostly untouched in the event of nuclear armageddon).

Then, Mictlantecuhtli, the god of the underworld will become the new sun. Ushering in the Sixth world.

1) Far from all sacrifices were willing. Some were, far from all though, so murder it is
2) Well I consider suicide to be le hecking bad too so yeah
And I didn't meant that murder = rape in what they do. They're just both le very bad. That's all. So's suicide, only trannies do that.
