Played more of Shadow Generations last night and this morning. The challenge acts weren't particularly unique and were lacking compared to Generations when it came to creativity. However, there was a challenge mission in Rail Canyon where you have to destroy these weird alien things with Chaos Spears that had a really annoying S Rank goal, it took me quite some time to S rank it. I'm not sure if getting S Ranks in challenge acts will give me anything but I'm gonna do it just in case.
Afterwards was the first boss, which was the one against the Biolizard. It was alright I guess, bossfights in Sonic games are never particularly exciting. Afterwards another cutscene between Shadow and BLACKED Doom played and the rest of the hub world opened up. There's some weird overworld challenges where you have to chase clocks or whatever.
 
Just beat both Kingdom Valley acts. Act 1 is better than Rail Canyon but still inferior to Space Colony ARK. Act 2 on the other hand is the worst level in the game so far. There are barely any alternate routes to take, it's just very dull platforming without anything exciting, I'd say it's filler Sonic Colors act or Forces bad but at least those levels had the decency to end after two minutes.
Sidenote: I wish they added a reference to the vehicle sections you did in Shadow's Kingdom Valley in 06. Maybe have a crashed out GUN hovercraft in the water or have a stupid cutscene where Shadow sees a GUN hangglider, scoffs and then breaks out the wings, just anything
Also, once you beat Kingdom Valley you have the displeasure of rescuing the obese Down's Syndrome faggot known as Big the Cat. STOP FUCKING ADDING HIM TO THESE GAMES. NOBODY OUTSIDE OF A FEW TRANNIES ON R/SONICTHEHEDGEHOG (>FOUND THE MOBILE USER :OOOOOO) LIKES HIM. P.S. YOUR STUPID GAY FROG GOT EATEN BY ONE OF THE EAGLES IN KINGDOM VALLEY NOW GO KILL YOURSELF

On the other hand, both Sunset Heights acts are great and are easily the best levels in the game, I also love seeing a Sonic level in overcast weather, you don't see many levels like that

It's still a long shot but I could see SEGA making a Steam Deck competitor at most.
For the foreseeable future doe, those little retro replica consoles will be the only modern-day SEGA "consoles".
SEGA Neptune would be a good name albeit, there was going to be a Neptune in the mid-90s but it got scrapped.

A credible leaker (DanielRPK) who has previously leaked a myriad of Movie 3 stuff, has just mentioned on Patreon that there's another Sonic show in the works.

I'm really surprised that they didn't just make a Prime Season 4 as the show was imfamously top-charts on Netflix for a-while but it's the be expected as Sonic has never had a show go for more then 3 seasons.

I'm hoping this comes out within the next two years and is an actual decent successor, either spiritually or art-wise to Sonic X, but of-course this time set in Sonic's world.

This fandom needs more Anime slopper to fuel fan-discourse and creation, as (in my opinion) the fandom hasn't felt as super-tight, fan-content oriented (AMVs and the like) and "expressive" per-se since the mid 2000s, but that's coming from me, someone who wasn't even alive for Sonic X and is instead going off my own archive of AMVs as all I within is Sonic X everything all over, along with the knowledge gained after hours of scowering through fan-site archives for public opinions from the era, so take that as you will.

I’d argue Sonic Boom was gemmy.
It’s either a nonsensical action show or a meta sit-com show depending on the episode, I haven’t watched it in its entirety but it’s definitely worth watching an episode or two if anything mentioned prior sparks your interest.
It’s definitely not everyone’s taste though as it heavily diverges from the mainline games and the Rise of Lyric itself.
