Did they really backport that into modern sonic? I'm downloading the game rn and I was never a fan of the dropdash to begin with and I don't imagine it working well in 3 dimensions. Christian really did irreparably damage the series if you're being fr rn.

Not as bad as I expected, but still has less personality than the original lines.

Ryujinx on Apple Silicon has presently surprised me. I’ve been able to run the game at Docked resolution at 30 fps, not bad for something as anti gaming as a MacBook

Yeah, that line wasn't too bad I suppose but I give up as the lag has gotten too unbearable for me to handle.
I have input delay and frame rate drops up the ass and to be quite frank, I'd only turn myself off from playing the PC release when it comes out if I continue playing.

TSMT, I've already died a handful of times due to it.
Why did they give it to Modern Sonic anyways, it doesn't even fit his playstyle?

Also I’m not sure if it’s just me but I think Omochao yaps a lot more than he used to. I don’t remember him bitching about how random things are happening in the levels so often, they yellow painted him

The Insta-shield gets mogged by the Mid-Air Trick Actions from the Advance games sadly.

I get called a Whitehead dick sucker by my friends every time I talk about Sonic Mania because I believe it to be the best sonic game (that I've played at least) but the drop never did it for me, it was always quite fickle and I never saw doing it to be better than just spindashing and I'm prolly gonna do the more familiar option. Lowkey though they gotta remove super sonic, he makes the game too easy once you go through half of it.

Side note but the new voice actor for Knuckles fucking sucks. Please just spend some money and bring back Travis Willingham, we don’t want this nigga

Playing as santiago is pretty fun after I got over his funky physics but I hate sonic in this game, haven't liked any of his sections.

Play the original game on Steam if you want to enjoy the real Modern Moran himself.
The emulator adds input delay and is capped at 30fps, far from optimal for Modern Sonic.
