I hated a fault in our stars with a passion.Currently reading A Fault in Our Stars and A People's Version of American History, the second one my uncle gave me to to challenge my current views. He isn't necessarily a lefty but knows the book has lefty views.

I actually read that a few months ago. I'm not super into sci fi but it was goodRoadside Picnic. If you can't understand Russian then choose the copy published by the Chicago Review Press. It has the most accurate translation.
