Project Shlog book reading club

Currently reading A Fault in Our Stars and A People's Version of American History, the second one my uncle gave me to to challenge my current views. He isn't necessarily a lefty but knows the book has lefty views.
I hated a fault in our stars with a passion.

Anyone have any book recommendations for a book club? I'm thinking something under 400 pages or so over a 2 or 3 week span

I'm also okay with not having a large group of people, 2 people is enough to be a book club imo

Roadside Picnic. If you can't understand Russian then choose the copy published by the Chicago Review Press. It has the most accurate translation.
