I am a firm believer in Islam and have always been a strong believer in an afterlife. There are so many reasons as to WHY I think that is the case.
I believe that when I die, I will be buried and will wait in the grave until the Day of Judgement, when Allah will decide whether or not I will go to Jannah or Jahannam.
Only time will tell, though.

Oh, I never knew that waiting in the grave was a part of the Islamic belief. I thought it was similar to our's in Christianity, where the mortal flesh remains down there while the soul ascends, and then, during the Resurrection, the mortal flesh is glorified and reunified with the soul to form a perfected body that will then be fit for the New Earth once Heaven is combined with Earth following the Great Tribulation (that's more specific to Christianity, but I pretty much thought it was similar to our's in how the soul goes to a spiritual location immediately after death). So, in Islam, does the consciousness remain in the grave with the body waiting for Allah that entire time?

Waiting in the grave will either feel like a couple seconds or thousands of years depending on how sinful one was during their life. If you were a pious man your treatment in the grave would be far better than that of a polytheist.

Is Heaven a cloud?

I think it's more than just a cloud, but I believe it's commonly portrayed in art as being cloud-filled because it's above the sky, where clouds are.

I'm not sure since anything said would be speculation, but I can imagine it would be a better world than here on earth as it is Heaven, familiar but entirely separate, I don't think it's a city in the clouds, I do think it's lush and full of greenery and beautiful skylines, something out of a dream or painting but physical and real, it's all stunning and breathtaking but you don't react to it as though it were, because there's no need to give a performance, you can just take it all in as it is.

I honestly believe in reincarnation. Being able to be a snake, eagle and even bacteria in a next life would be really cool.

I also believe that ingraining yourself into history makes you immortal in a way to the point you become an egregore. It is why I believe it's possible to summon dead people like Napoleon although won't recommend it to the weak.

Kinda interesting how sometimes in movies, deserted islands are depicted as some sort of paradises.

I don't really like the idea of reincarnation because I don't want to forget about my family and loved ones and become a completely different person with a different family or become a dog or something.
