he wouldn't be able to walk in first person mode since that was exclusively for the slingshot usage buuuuut i guess you changed your mind.
This might change, however. I want the game to be playable entirely on a keyboard and also have controller support. It'll be made with controllers in mind, but for keyboard, I think I might make it so that you can use WASD with the first person cam to slowly aim the slingshot. Walking around in first person might have a use but it's not important. I will add vents and lockers in the future however, I already have a state machine for crouching and proning, but I just need the animations for all of that.

Might focus on eye animations today, like blinking and making that procedural so that Engel doesn't look lifeless.

TBH bro, vent crawling is an overused trope in both games and other media, hiding in the lockers is cool though

This is better actually, you could've just made a 2 frame blinking animation but i like this
Also, will there be a sprint key? I'm asking this becuase i feel that having there be a choice between walking and sprinting is hood for stealth

I also just had to adjust the position so the eyes only blink in from the top and not scale to the middle, but personally it looks fine to me so it's whatever.

Yeah, there will be a stamina bar.
I'm probably gonna need to design a sheet of facial expressions for Engel too, and also gore overlays for getting hurt.
Stamina would play an important role, as in you might have your stamina bar cut in half if you have no items to give to a bully, like Oliver for example.
A lot of focus goes into the stealth aspect of it, but ultimately it's a combination of both Baldi's Basics and Metal Gear Solid, so Stamina is a must-have especially for when Miss Circle gets extremely angry.

It would be cool if Engel's facial expression changed when he was running to a more stressful and tense face, maybe even have him clenching his teeth or panting

Was def planning on making enemies that can go into vents, like paper dogs perhaps that you can just hear scurrying around looking for you in there, adding tension to the vents.

I like this alot actually, Half-Life also made the vent's unsafe (half of the time it was scripted events thoughie)

Okay but imagine Miss Bloomie crawling inside the vents since she's the smallest teacher

why would she doe. i mean put yourself in miss circle or miss bloomie's shoes, it' be easier to try and stab holes into the vent if its a ceiling vent. if the vent is unreachable, you might aswell send dogs down there or something. in my opinion miss circle would probably love to go hunting for meat inside of a vent but to be honest she probably wouldn't fit in there.

oh yo you know what would be really cool? an enemy that drags you straight to miss circle, like a dog or something that catches you by the leg and drags you all the way to miss circle, like the broom from baldi's basics but more malicious.

i would probably consider it but miss bloomie would roughly be near the same height as engel, so it's a possibility perhaps. though i like the idea of small creatures scurrying around in there a lot more

Personally i find it a possibility that should be explored in my opinion
 
I'll definitely consider having all the teachers in the same gamemode but a part of me wanted to have a teacher extremely similar to baldi in like a different gamemode, like maybe Miss Thavel or someting can have her own mode, where getting caught by her is instant death and she works like Baldi does, tapping her ruler to advance, either that or I could make it different for once and have a Night time mode with a crying witch like character that you have to stare at to keep still and moves extremely fast when you're not looking at it, so it would be

Day - VS, Miss Circle and Miss Bloomie
Night - VS. Miss Thavel

if that makes sense. I just imagined those three as being their own boss characters.
but I guess Miss Bloomie getting into a vent looking for you is a good idea aswell, I'd just imagine her not killing you though but instead grabbing you so that Miss Circle specifically could finish you off. Maybe Miss Bloomie can cut off your legs so you have to be really careful to stay away from her or something.

Wait, why would you be inside the school at night? To steal all the keycards?
Also i remember when you told me once that you could hold nice teachers like Miss Sasha and Miss Emily hostage so you could get a keycard, i wonder how that would work.
