Problem of Evil thread

We humans have developed a sense of good and bad (Morals) and good and evil (Developed higher early civilized morals) Through evolutionary strategy, development, and understanding to survive and deal with the world and to help your tribe
morals are counter intuative to the individual but good for social (group) animals and morals are in no way unique to humans

But people commit bad actions all the time based on their natural senses, urges, and intuitions, so what differentiates the sense of moral goodness from something like hunger or lust?
It drives us to take said actions in order for survival. Morals is literally just emotions and urges and other thoughts
>Lust
Drives you to have kids and pass your genes
>Hunger
Urges to make you eat so you do not starve and die
its easy

Morals actually are natural to us exactly to help and provide support for our tribe

Well kinda, group animals have developed morals in order to increase the chance of THEIR kids surviving rather than to help the others survive its more of a dont fuck with me and in exchange i wont fuck with you relationship which is why competive group species commit infanticide even if they are part of the same species.

Lust can also drive men to kill their kinsmen though, or make foolish sexual decisions, which hurt the tribal health

But it uses the emotion of love and connection in order to make offspring

I was meaning to show that instinct as the entirety of morality, while on the right track, is leaving something lacking. Our instincts are usually for the best but can conflict with each other. It can't just be a means to an end

That’s what I was implying but not to over-wordy
