That's fair, you should practice it more. Most artists start off badly drawing hands because they're pretty difficult

first ever successful digital animation i’ve made. (made during the 2025 banner contest)

i’m 2 months into drawing after not drawing for 4 years. so far BIG improvements, i think.

i guess this thread could be used as like documenting art i made that i find to be drawn better than all the other ones that go in my journal.

all of these are drawn with a pencil and coloured pencils on paper. if my life was on the line and my killer told me to make a good piece of digital art, i would be dead before you can say scrumdiddlyumptious, and it’ll be like that for a long time.

the banner was a pain to make tbh. the font was custom made and i had to deal with an animation program that is probably the worst i’ll ever use, worst part is that i was learning along the way and had no idea how animation worked before. took me about an hour to make

all i can discern is that this was made with coloured pencils and a little bit of marker

those glow effects are actually crazy!!

i really have to learn to start shading with coloured pencils and mixing colours

im 100% going to trace this and see how it turns out
