first ever successful digital animation i’ve made. (made during the 2025 banner contest)

i’m 2 months into drawing after not drawing for 4 years. so far BIG improvements, i think.

i guess this thread could be used as like documenting art i made that i find to be drawn better than all the other ones that go in my journal.

all of these are drawn with a pencil and coloured pencils on paper. if my life was on the line and my killer told me to make a good piece of digital art, i would be dead before you can say scrumdiddlyumptious, and it’ll be like that for a long time.

work in progress. i’m trying to replicate the chiodo brothers artstyle which i found to look super cool yet simplistic.

it’s strange, because this was clearly drawn on paper. as digital art was expensive to non-existent back in 1984. yet it’s so beautiful and simplistic. i really want to know where to get the markers and colored pencils used in this drawing. it’s super nice

right now i simply don’t have the resources to draw in this artstyle due to only having the basic markers and coloured pencils.
