May 17th, 2024: Another pretty long day, I had to wake up at 6:30AM for work, which started at 8AM for me, even though It normally starts for me at 11:30AM on Fridays, I had it shifted from 8AM-3PM because of my exam that was from 4PM-6PM today, after I finished up the test, which I hope that I did good enough on. I started hauling things over to my new apartment, like I walked over there while carrying them in my hands, keep in mind it was like a 20 minute walk to get there while carrying all my shit, I think I managed to get in like 4 trips total before calling it a night.
 
May 18th, 2024: I started off the day by manually hauling more stuff over to my new place until my parents came over and I helped them unload until we got all of my stuff for the apartment out. After we unloaded me and my mom (dad stayed at the apartment) went out to buy groceries for the place and other stuff we needed, at the Walmart while looking for a pot we encountered this girl and guy working for spectrum trying to sell us Internet and we decided to go with them, I remember in the middle of our conversation we heard a guy hit on a woman telling her to smile more (they were both Black but I didn’t see the women’s reaction) and all four of us just looked at each other. I had the misfortune of realizing that the doors to the bathroom in my new apartment are thin and even when shoving a towel under the crack of the door, I can still hear anybody taking a shit in there so I just listen to music on my phone to compensate.

May 19th, 2024: First day going to work while living in my new place, I had to deal with Enosh forgetting to unlock my door after he went to the bathroom which sucked, work was pretty good and I got all but one of my tasks completed. I got home at like 5:20 to find out not only did my roommate leave the lights on in his room, but also the coffee pot I made and the lights in the kitchen. Although he came home later after two graduation ceremonies he attended (one for his relative and another for our friend from Iran who I will be calling Yasmine who is moving to Connecticut within a week.) For dinner I had buttery chicken flavored ramen with an egg and some cut up Spam.

May 20th, 2024: Another kind of boring day at work, I got to grab some expired milk for free, but when I got home my mom and dad had brought a desk and some more cooking stuff for me.

May 21st, 2024: First day at my apartment where I did not have to work at all, I just spent the day on my desktop playing Ravenfield, it was honestly a pretty uneventful day, although I did end up cooking some fettuccine pasta with marinara sauce for my roommate and I for dinner and we watched another episode of Parks and Recreations. (The one where Leslie Knope finds out she’s not from Pawnee, Indiana after publishing her book.)

May 22nd, 2024: Got up for work again, had to go to 7/11 because I didn’t feel like waiting for coffee before taking the bus to work, at work I got the one task I disliked the most (stocking a certain part of the store) but I managed to complete all my tasks just before heading out, after work I walked to a cost cuts and finally got my hair cut because I have to look presentable for a funeral and my hair was starting to bother me, once I got back home I chilled out in my room and Enosh made chicken strips with cut up bell peppers for dinner and we watched yet another episode of Parks and Recreations (Halloween party one.)

May 23rd, 2024: I fucking had the stupid “stock THAT part of the store” task again for like the third fucking time in a row because the substitute for my store manager who I will be calling Giuseppe is being a selfish little fuck, although I was lucky in that it was shorter than yesterday, I was lucky enough that I got done with all my tasks with an hour left to spare so I just started sweeping the street outside.

May 24th, 2024: One of those late days at work where I had to start and end late, I got a text around lunchtime that Enosh had accidentally locked himself out of the apartment and needed to borrow my keys, so I told him to come to my work and do that, an hour later he comes and I get the keys, luckily he did not lose those. I got done with all of my tasks early (I was assigned THAT task again) and just chilled out before closing. Once I was done with work I took the bus home and then had to wait outside a bit for my roommate to let me in.

May 25th, 2024: I woke up and had soft-boiled eggs, toast, and a banana, I got off of work today and Sunday because I have to go to this funeral on Monday, I packed up and then took the bus to the Amtrak station (my first time riding), It was technically two train rides, one from big city to bigger city and then one from bigger city to small city, I remember this French (I'm not sure but I saw some French stuff on her computer) girl named Nina sat next to me on the second train while I was going into a deep dive on Poyais. After I got off the train I got picked up by my mom and was driven to one of the two houses my family lived in. I had dinner and took a boat ride with my family and my second cousins.

May 26th, 2024: I got to hang out more with my extended side of the family, took a few walks and had to clean the windows for money. I even found out that my dad was a huge Civilization fan and that he was an Egypt main. I helped with making dinner and socialized a bit more.

Having too much of a gamer dad idn't great either, talking about experience.
He introduced me to MMORPGs, we played together my whole childhood, but he hasn't quit, and being behind the screen almost all the time isn't 100% healthy

MMORPGs are boring that's why you don't like that aspect of him. Now if he was a REAL gamer you would've loved it.
