June 21st, 2024: Back to work again. (Sadly) and they just had me vacuuming a lot for my tasks, which is better. I had to complete this other guy’s task in the middle of a crowded store because he left early, plus the temporary manager also left early so there was that to contend with. I talked with this 14 year old (who is almost 15) that we shall call the “Skibidi Orthobro” because he was in a discord server voice chat constantly saying “Skibidi Toilet” with a voice changer. (I genuinely think he became Eastern Orthodox because of Little Dark Age Jesus edits on TikTok.) Once I got done with work I went home and found out that my roommate got a router from his cousins and now the WiFi works instead of having to rely on Ethernet connection. My roommate cooked up something for us for dinner and we watched the episode of Smiling Friends where Pim and Charlie get abducted by aliens and end up in an alien house party.

June 22nd, 2024: Another day of having to stock that part of the store again, I saw a homeless man sitting outside the store when I went to do the garbages but never interacted with him. After closing I found out that I missed my bus and would have to wait 30 minutes for the next bus to come even though it is usually one bus every 15 minutes, so I ran to a nearby bus stop and almost missed that bus. When I got home I found out that there is a fruit fly infestation in the kitchen now so I poured a little bit of bleach down the drains. Went to sleep to the sound of my roommate watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy in the living room.

June 23rd, 2024: I kind of fucked up today because I got into work half an hour early when I did not need to. Did some more stocking for my job today, and it was pretty crowded which made it kind of annoying because as I have learned here, most people have no spatial awareness. I finally decided to take up the store owner's offer and have him pay for my lunch meal (Fettuccini Alfredo and a Chinotto drink) which was really nice. The worst part about closing was having a task take way longer than it should have because of this Mexican family that couldn’t be bothered to get up once they were done eating.

June 24th, 2024: I was surprised today to see that my old manager has finally returned after recovering from his surgery; however, he had to split his shift due to the surgery, but he still ended up helping us with this task. After I got home I made some of the new pasta with this sauce that they had and me and my roommates loved it.

June 25th, 2024: Another day at work with my manager back, it was pretty busy but I managed to get all of my tasks done. I saw the pastor for the mass I was at on Thursday and decided to say hello to him but he didn't acknowledge me at all. I went to Barnes and Nobles just before it closed to get a new Catholic bible (with the Deuterocanon) and I couldn't find anything sadly, which solidified my hatred of Protestants.

June 26th, 2024: My first of two days off (because my mom made me take 5 day work weeks) and I decided to go to bookstores across the city to look for that Catholic bible, I usually found either nothing or just Protestant bibles, it took me multiple hours before I decided to switch to looking for a bible store instead and eventually found one near where I had wandered. I went in there and found a leather bound bible for $35, although I wish I had ordered one online.

June 27th, 2024: I went to Walmart today to get some milk, cereal, and that South Korean ramen that is infamous for being really spicy, I went back home and this Jewish guy and his younger brother thought I was Jewish (I am not.) I ended up trying the infamous ramen and ended up realizing that I got the wrong kind (the packaging was black instead of red.) Played some more Minecraft and Holdfast.

June 28th, 2024: Today was a pretty busy day at work. I had to bring the winter clothes for organizing the freezer but at least it did not take as long as I expected it to take. I was working with cheese a lot and had to completely stock a certain part of the store and I realized only now that I forgot to do something important with them. I ended up taking home a bunch of ravioli packets because they didn’t have a label. As for after work, I was supposed to hang out with this friend of mine but they ended up canceling because “they didn’t feel good.” And I only realized after I had started walking to the place to meet up at, so then I had to walk over to a different bus station and take that bus home.

June 29th, 2024: A pretty busy day at work, I had to stock that part of the store again and it took longer because I had to pull down more stuff. My manager only had the first half of his split shift which was weird. After I got back from work I played some more Minecraft but I was too lazy to make a proper dinner so I just had A peanut butter and Nutella sandwich for dinner instead.
