They somehow made me miss root. Every time anyone brought up the 5-board plan, not a single person EVER suggested locking /qa/ or /q/. Now we have two /qa/s, both of which are already worse looking than /qa/ and neither contain the /qa/ spergs. If it was:
q / soy / qa / mtv / nate
q / soy / qa / pol / mtv
q / soy / qa / pol / nate
No one will be that upset... The ideal setup would have been...
[ q / soy / qa / nate ] [ pol / mtv / sci ]
No one would be upset about that topbar after an hour or two. /soy/'s quality and pph is dropping and I hope someone fucking fixes this shit. Even if you hate /qa/ and don't think it's a good containment board (even though locking it has proven it was) how the fuck can anyone be okay with locking /qa/ after operation clean stable? 0 respect for 'arty culture. I have seen more self-harm posts, 'p raids, and other subversive 'cord brimstone posted these past two days than at any point during the froot era... Maybe nuDev should fix the home page, sweep, keep the site stable, or deal with hCaptcha before he tries to turn the sharty into 4cvck or the 'cord.

It may be gone, but it was the only thing restraining its userbase from migrating to other boards, and even if you can get rid of their board, they aren't just up-and-leaving. In a literal sense, /qa/ is gone, but in a figurative sense, a large portion of /soy/ is now the new /qa/.
