Is 40 bicep curls with two 6kg dumbells too much?

I just did 40 bicep curls with two 6kg dumbells, too much or not enough?

If you can do 40 reps id recommend increasing the weight. You want to be able to do about 10-15 max for the first couple sets and then decrease the reps. Failure should be from 10-15. Try the highest weight you can bear at first for 3–4 reps also.

But dont just do bicep curls!!
