I say let people make fun of your work so you can improve on what they made fun of. Pushing yourself, progressive overload style.
Of course, thats means you would actually have to make stuff

I was still a bit transphobic during my first year on Reddit (2019) but after interacting with ftm trannies on chuddy subreddits I became more tolerant of them over time.
