To be serious though, I don't think people online count as "friends" unless you already met with them in person before. There is no such thing as online friends. Yeah, you might talk to them a lot or have the same interests but not friends. I'm never gonna have online friends because I don't want to end up like my older sibling which like 88% of xir buddies are on 'cord.
