I’d say going consistently helps but also eating a lot is like 50% of the battle so eat a lot and lift a lot to see some progress.
ah, do I have to eat a lot to get anything out of lifting? guess it's not for me thenhi I have some advice as a lifter of 1 & 1/2 years
find a split you like, start off with PPL (push pull legs) then look for alternatives if you don't like PPL
also EAT
EAT A LOT OF FUCKING FOOD
TWICE AS MUCH AS A REGULAR PERSON
now that we got the basics out the way don't start extremely intense, go with the flow of things and then after you start adjusting to the muscle stimulus, start training to failure/train to a level of intensity to where itll hurt BAD
good luck if you have questions or want advice you can PM me
if you have trouble eating actual foods you can get your calories in the form of liquids like protein shakesah, do I have to eat a lot to get anything out of lifting? guess it's not for me then

Alright, thanks, broorStart with calisthenics and bodyweight training before you start weight lifting, It is better for beginners and helps you build more strength for them.
