My current elevator pitch is that I believe that any niche group could hold influence in the TFR American Civil War, so why not Internet groups?
I want to make a soyjak dot party themed nation in TFR's civil war, and I believe I found the way to do it that's fun and interesting.
I intend to replace this no content nation in Oregon(with the country tag Licorice Candy

) with a Santa's workshop themed faction led by Soot, who will conquer America with the aid of other Santa's workshop figures.
My current idea for a game timeline would be to have internet communities rise in popularity in the wake of COVID, have many of them fight in Saudi Arabia during their civil war, then return to the near-collapse America to form a group, one that would coup the SNCA Aryan Nations from Mr Mcdonald over here

and form a new country festive on south pole.
Why south pole? Because it would make sense to have them, a much bigger group, lead the way first in a splinter coup, plus it would allow me to bait normgroids by advertising it as LE SCHITZO FOUR CHAN COUNTRY!!! Obviously they would get couped by Soot, and the game would go on.
My idea for a gameplay experience would be a 3 way power struggle between Soot, Froot, and Kuz that result in different endings, an inevitable clash with the California unifier via more subversive means(APLA is really strong in the current build), all of which builds to a final struggle against Atomwaffen, and then clashes with other nations as Let your heart be bright! Internetsstaat tries to take over teh interwebs by whatever means.
I was inspired by how much influence the O9A Atomwaffen Division could have in the game, despite being a niche satanist group that in real life we know for teenage pedophiles. If they could achieve that in TFR's story, why not the Santa's workshop? I intend to model the power struggle off the in-game Atomwaffen power struggle, and I want to build Atomwaffen as the final enemy due to how we've dealt with O9A people for real in our spaces. The Division would be given hidden buffs to allow them to consistently unite the South, and I want the Santa's workshop focuses to do things that visibly give buffs to the Division so they are a much more substantial threat than in base TFR. It sounds like a fun concept, especially if I have to learn new things to make my creative vision real.
Right now I'm trying to focus on learning how to code mods, since art placeholders could be easily utilized from the Booru, the story and gameplay can always be polished later, and Paradox just released a massive DLC so I'm working with a stable code base for a good long while. Plus, this creative expression is fun! I couldnt show it to any real life people, but I can always take the skills with me for something else. I'm putting my pitch out there so anyone who reads this could send me coding resources, ideas, or just hold me to my word. Even if I fail at trying to make this, I can still say that I tried and I can try again. Plus, it seems like less work than whatever Mist wants to make, geg.
