Why tf doesn't borderless mode work? I enabled it settings and restarted the game but it still shows up like this bruh, I want my taskbar to show so I can switch between my apps quickly

That's because borderless windowed is like fullscreen except it lets you easily alt tab unlike exclusive fullscreen

I tried that with my computer's resolution and it still looked the same as fullscreen mode

Yeah because it's the full resolution. It will cover the taskbar when in focus. If you set a smaller resolution in windowed the taskbar will show up

so there's no way to do something like in Minecraft where the game covers everything except for the taskbar?

Get a 2nd monitor or look on the internet where the ini is and whether or not you can force resolution via that.
