No, I think it should be much more transparent.
In this case, it took 24 years of lawyers staying the execution, and I think the information from those hearings should be public, so that people can start shit-stirring if they disagree with the sentence. Or something.

The only answer i can find is that they're nickel-plated, which makes them cycle more reliably

I'm in favor of the firing squad. Optics aside it's a quicker and cheaper way to kill these niggers, plus lethal injection is often really scuffed.

Just use old captitve bolt pistols that are used to stun cattle
I don't get why prisons don't do this it's quite literally the fastest way to kill people
Just put it up against the back of the head where it meets the neck (you're trying to instantly destroy the brain stem)
