Seems like it only affected the webmail service though. stop using webmail and use a mail client like thunderbird.
I currently use an AOL as my IRL normie mail as it was funny and still better than Jewgle, but I'm thinking of just getting another domain and self-hosting normie emails for me and my frens, perhaps family too if they're willing to use such a service. I would have to figure out hosting two email services on the same network, but I can probably figure out a way to route digitalcheese.xyz traffic over a VPS as to hide my real IP address anyways and go from there. My current plan is to basically get rid of all my emails except an email for purchasing domains under my real name (aol?), my digital cheese emails, and any email which is self-hosted as it is very easy to get domains these days even without giving your real information if you're careful. NameCheap accepts even TextNow numbers with little "verification", so I often just use that.My main email is literally from a Dial-Up Internet service and doesn't even encrypt emails. But I'm an oldfagerino and that's how I like it.
It's Juno, which is the same as NetZero. Back when I still had a copper landline I'd use it to access the web every time my dad unplugged the router. But ever since my parents wanted to get rid of the landline and I ported it over to VoIP.ms, I've just been using it as my main email as it was the most professional one I had.If you don't mind sharing such service, what dial-up internet service did you get your email from?
steam refused to let me use itit was already BLACKlisted by numerous email providers so it's not a big deal
If you're playing games on PC, you're supposed to pirate them anyways.steam refused to let me use it![]()
I used to pirate a lot but then I got my steam deck, I really like the cloud saves and steam sales o algoIf you're playing games on PC, you're supposed to pirate them anyways.

Cloud saves are convenient, although for older games which are emulated, there are likely better options should one put in the work to do so. Also Steam sales are useless while pirating, except if you play newer slop *or* have some other good reason (admittedly, I would probably use them a lot as I do occasionally play newer stuff, if I weren't mostly a console player due to my refusal to dual-boot Windows and Linux).I used to pirate a lot but then I got my steam deck, I really like the cloud saves and steam sales o algo
I actually can't remember when they added verification. I could've swore I didn't have to verify to use Steam back when I did register, but I registered in 2019 and had shortly after gotten Garry's Mod and the Portal games, so I can't recall if this is real, and, odds are, this is likely just me misremembering especially as I'm seeing posts from at least 2018 where such verification is necessary.gabe jewell requires a $5 payment to verify account but i still pirate because i'm poor
