I think Poopson would destroy every card on the table. What do you guys think would be some good soyjak cards?

SOYDUEL GAME

Basics.

Each player gets a dozen cards and keeps them hidden from the other player, to decide who gets their turn first, each player reveals one card of choice from their hand, whichever has the higher GEM status (explained later) gets to play first.

You get 2 action points each turn that you have to use,
action points can do a couple things

-use a cards special ability
-place down a new card from your hand
-use an action/utility card

One player wins when all of the opponent cards are dead or cannot be used. If all cards are dead for both players by the end of the final attacking turn, whichever player has more action cards wins, if both players...
hmm how would the game work?
Oooooh what if it was like Magic or Pokemon, where you have 'jaks AND land cards/soy cards.
Each 'jak has certain soy requirements. Soy cards can be shit like bugs and soylent, Nintendo and capeslop, gems and coal and stuff like that.
Obviously Yu-Gi-Oh mogs those tranny games, but I think that mechanic works well.
There should be fusion and synchro 'jaks like in Yu-Gi-Oh tho

hmm how would the game work?
in typical sharty fashion, i'd figure it'd work as a soyduel. the game would have to start out with a topic, one pertaining to a typical thread you'd see on /soy/. the first player sets said topic while the second quotes the first player with whatever variant they deem most fitting for said thread. the only thing this leaves out is if shinier cards would have any impact on the game itself which is what i'm still trying to figure out

Card section.

Each card has 4 statistics.

HP
- determines how many points of damage a card can withstand
ATK
- determines how much HP you take away from another card
RAN
-determines how many ranks further a card can attack from (1-Melee, 2-Ranged, 3-Sniper)
GEM
- Ranges from -4 (VANTABLACK) to 4 (VANTAWHITE,) for each GEM rank higher your card is compared to the attacking cards GEM rank is, you take one less HP away.
ex.
Stupidjak has a GEM status of -2, while Bernd has a gem status of 3
Bernd has a GEM status 5 higher than Stupidjak, therefore Bernd will take 5 less damage.
GEM status is determined by how well liked the 'jak in the card is,
cards like Cobson, Soyak, and Chud will have very high GEM status, cards like Soylita, Jartycuck, and Troonella will have very low GEM status.

Cards can also have special attacks/abilities to make them unique.

Actions cards do a variety of things (freeze, damage, move, heal, etc.) to other other cards.

Solution
Fighting section.

Played on an imaginary 4 rows by 3 columns, each player can only play in the 2 rows closest to them; opposite to the opponent.
Ex. player one can play in back squares, player two can play in white squares.

⬜⬜⬜
⬜⬜⬜
⬛⬛⬛
⬛⬛⬛

Cards with lower range (Melee) can only attack the row directly in front of itself, cards with higher range (Ranged, Sniper) can attack several rows in front of themselves.
any card can attack in any row with the exception of Melee cards, which cannot attack cards 2 columns away from the card itself.

If zero cards are in the front row of the 2 rows you can place cards in, the cards in the back row move forward at the start of your turn.
Ex. Angry feral is in the back-rank after all of the front-rank 'jaks die.

⬜⬜⬜ ....... ⬜⬜⬜
⬜⬜⬜ ---> ⬜⬜⬜
⬛⬛⬛ ....... ⬛[angry]⬛
⬛[angry]⬛........ ⬛⬛⬛

After each opponent uses up both of their turns, the attacking turn starts, each opponent takes turns using a card to attack another card, even if a card reaches 0 health or lower, the card itself does not die until the attacking turn is over.

THE END I THINK

theres probably so many ESLbabble moments here kms
hopefully this makes sense.

@Steve give this the solution [wholesome]
