Finished it myself an hour ago. The DLC was 10/10 until the final boss. Don't know what they were thinking with that retarded ass lightshow, legitimately worse than Malenia. It definitely soured my experience in the end. Music was peak dough, except for, again, the final boss. (worst final boss in souls history?)

You still have to time it before the boss begins it’s combo and roll through attacks. Considering the bosses have way more stamina than you, I think it’s a fair tradeoff.

Spirit summons are utterly useless against the final dlc boss. AoE laser beam spam will kill them almost instantly.
