Very serious Anime has caused the collapse of western civilisation.

This tag connotates the discussion as something much more serious than a regular Serious tag.
moeslop is the most boring shit I've ever watched I swear.
tried watching lucky star and i fell asleep not even halfway through the first episode. its seriously so uninteresting and they try to hyperfixate on one small aspect every 3 minutes. like they wasted 3 or 2 minutes in the same room talking about which way you should eat a chocolate. not just that, everything doesnt connect either, like the next scene i see this girl sick on bed when they were just walking down the school hallway before

He was a 4chan user that found the 'party in a way outside of 4chan.
I was a 4chan user that found the 'party in a way outside of 4chan too but I don't claim to be a 4chan immigrant, its not how I found the site.

So it's like Salad Fingers, but without all the good aspects.

On one side, you have the moe: Stories about literally nothing happening, no conflicts, no romance, no character arcs, it's just like watching women go to the supermarket for 40 minutes.
But on another side, you have trannies who watch "deep" pretentious stuff like serial experiments lain, evangelion and madoka's magic and think they're any better

Somewhat related, I don't watch anime, but I had a few buddies who did, and I actually got to watch Serial Experiments Lain with them. I didn't fully get it nor FIRMLY GRASP IT, however I checked out the album Twilight by Bôa after finishing the series and really liked that instead.

I also saw a bit of Evangelion as well. I don't know what episodes, I just tuned in for about ten minutes during the half-way point, and I didn't get what the fuck was happening. I think it was just another mecha show but with "religious" undertones, specifically rooted in Christianity.
