Serious Schlog users how would you get a girlfriend?

A lot of relationships go wrong because of people prioritizing sex over true love. I feel like external appearance has a good factor on this
I feel like this is only heightened because of how people constantly use the internet and how social media only showcases the most 'perfect, flawless 10/10 would look at again' types of people, so this gets ingrained into how people see 'beautiful or hot people' and people start getting entitled and think "well if this is what's hot then that's what I should be with." because they forget what an average or even homely looking person looks like.
Like before, if you weren't looking at magazines of hot people or watching TV, you were out and about looking at average but decent looking people, and that's what everybody was used to.

Yeah but what can you do about it? I gave up.

When I say this, this isn't directed toward you but towards the modern world.

stop being a shallow cunt and take people as they are, not how they look

i would js asker out on a date. u don't need to befriend her at all to ask someone out on a date.

me personally, i would take her out to somewhere fun, like a bowling alley or knott's berry farm(not anymore since i moved out of cali)
Ask WHO?? And what's the point on me asking someone I know absolutely nothing about on a date. It's pointless. I don't know them. They don't know me.

Nah, it's hopeless. If you've never been on a date by the time you're 18 just give up and focus on yourself and being happy alone. You'll never find your soulmate.

Ask WHO??

let me ask you something. how did you meet your friends? did you so happen to instantly know your friend and who he is?

same shit. js ask her on a date.

In real life? By circumstance. Now that I am no longer in school, we are no longer friends because we were just friends because we met everyday. We weren't friends in the real sense of the word that we had common interests and that we had a true bond. It was just convenient.
You need some cheering up. I suggest you watch this video which I feel applies attitude wise in this situation.
I'm perfectly happy, I'm just being realistic.
