The special board idea is an experiment for now, but to be honest I don't think it's a good idea. MVP role will be renamed and made invisible, hopefully. If anything this board should exist for the purpose of raiding without getting shut down. Ultimately this board might be a bit useless considering that users who might want to join in on the conversation will ping the users outside of the board and create threads for monitoring the activity of the board, defeating the purpose. If it stays, delete it. It creates ego amongst users who have access to it and will cause more namefag drama in the long run, especially if people there start using it to bitch about other users knowing they can't reply directly, only for those users to potentially ping them outside of the board regardless and cause a giant shitfest

Important: Let new changes to the site be ran through a democratic decision making process instead of just doing shit because you're an admin and you feel like it. Create a poll for it, it creates actual community engagement and I feel like the community needs to take better control of this site if you want it to get better. The idea went from a public badge and private access to a gatekept forum to a public access forum with no title (when I get home it'll be invisible) with forum bans enforced, all through people talking and suggesting changes. That's more democratic than probably anything else that's happened on the forum before I think. I'm not against the idea that some of my points aren't as great as some of my other points, but overall I think we can agree that the number of reactions being added is getting too large to the point it goes to the end of my page.
