a more natural and true to form miss circle design
cold and calculated, you can't get a glimpse of her eyes, she's covered in blood at all times and her clothes are ripped and dirty
her arm cut off, replaced with the drawing compass, permanently.
so next i have to redraw it and separate it into seperate pieces for animation and then make a side sprite, and then the game will have a villain character
but i should probably make a placeholder guard before i make the main big bad demon villain.

I just realized, baqqrih described his idea of an FPE plot to be kids trapped in a paper world by an evil sorceress. Wouldn’t that be a cross between the plot of digital circus and FNAF?
baqqrih being the man he is inspired me a lot to make a game about a small boy named Engel, being trapped forever in a Paper Domain, being tormented by demons. You can make an analogy of this, if you want, that in order for Engel to escape, he has to look for the guidance of God, if that makes you more comfortable, however, that isn't exactly my goal, as if anything, it's more akin to Engel, being the young but relatively capable man that he is, is able to survive and escape an extremely pressurable and stressful situation through the power of hope and strength and also via the power of the player, the only person who can help Engel remember.

I haven't really gotten a clue as to how Engel could escape, as the world is not like a nightmare, it is a book, he exists as an actual literal paper creation by an evil artist, he might be able to lift himself directly off of the pages and see the real world for what it is and decide that the only way to escape is to either rewrite the story and erase the demons from it, creating a new story with a happy ending. How Engel might be able to do this, I'm not too entirely sure, but perhaps it might require the player to physically break the game Doki Doki style, access secrets and directly do things out of character to help Engel remember his nightmares.

I'm not entirely sure if it intersects with FNAF or TADC but this is the story that I want to go with for this project, that fundamentally, you play as a suffering young man in a stressful situation, looking for ways to escape. It feels hopeless, as even if you beat the game, that doesn't mean that you win, but in a world without hope, the only thing that shines is your own determination, that if you keep going despite the odds being extremely slim, you can still make it out alive. I suppose this sort of idea reflects my own personal world views on the power of negativity, but it also reflects on FPE as it currently stands as the animation itself. The artist, Kaaatie, draws these characters and gets them killed with no repurcussions to the point where the gore is seen as cutesy and the fanbase is drawing and animating Engel killing his friend for no good reason. My idea does away with that, that this isn't a world of cutesy gore, this is a world with real torture, real suffering, suffering that continues to go on until someone does something about it. That person is me, but it's also the player in a sense. By making this game, I can rewrite the story of FPE, I can change how people might perceive it, I can turn coal into a gem.

My personal lore heavily centers around that core concept of being able to rewrite history, but taken literally, as Engel is a character inside of an art book.
That is why I saw potential in Maim Crucifix when I created that alteration in Miss Circle, I was originally going to call her "Trauma" but I found that name to be too corny, even though that is what she represents, a figure that Engel is all too familiar with, one he remembers even when he seemingly cannot remember his nightmares. This figure, whatever it is, he knows he has to stay away from it, he knows that he is powerless to defeat it, but that's not entirely true, if Engel somehow remembered what she did to him, all of the lives he lost, all of the limbs she cut off, all of the souls she tortured, and remember her weaknesses, he can beat her and rewrite history for good, ending this cycle of torture with a happy ending.

When you think about it in terms of FNAF and TADC it is similar to FNAF 3's Happiest Day Minigame.

In my opinion if you had to scale things in terms of videogames, the player is the most powerful character. In order to make a game that's actually scary these days, you would need to create malware, which is illegal. I think it's up to the player to decide if Engel is worth leaving to die endlessly in torment, or if Engel is worth saving.

There will might be a non canon soyjak mode, I'm not sure how I would do it but considering what I'm doing is laying out the ground work for the engine, I could make it an easter egg and you might play as Nate running away from Rapeson or something. Anything related to that could come in the format of mods perhaps, or maybe just hidden easter eggs. I feel like making it an easter egg would be hilarious, that this FPE game came from a soyjak website, but ultimately as I have outlined, I despise the FPE fanbase as it currently stands and this game is not made for them, it's made for me and it's made for the potential that I see in the FPE universe. Most idiots see cute women and cute gore, I see demons, I took the animation literally and seriously.

So maybe, idk, if you have a shitty OC or something you could probably draw it, send it to me, separate the parts and I could rig it into a 2D Skeleton, or just send a drawing of your front, back and side sprite and I might be able to rig it and make it like a dev easter egg like "hi soggy i am ilovevesna" and i just kill him or something idk.

The game will have no lethal options only non lethal, except for when fighting demons or something in nightmare modes where you have to ignite them in flames or something like that. Nightmare would probably go like "Nightmare with Maim Testimony (Thavel), Maim Blasphemy (Bloomie) and Maim Crucifix (Circle)" these 3 demons work in different ways, with Crucifix haunting Engel and the player psychologically, while Thavel is a weeping Angel and Blasphemy would act a lot like a traditional standard boss fight.

I don't exactly know why it had to be FPE but I can't really distance this project from FPE, the designs of characters are so easy to create and the general idea of FPE creates the perfect framework for what I want to create that it's hard to distance it from FPE, but people should know that it's not for the "OwO miss circle is so cute!!" types of people. Making this game also helps me a lot as a developer, I had another game I wanted to make that was quite similar to this one but I canceled it due to not being motivated enough, and the universe of FPE combined with it's shit fanbase just gives me all the motivation I need to make such a great project.
Worst case scenario however is that this game comes out, people hate it, but soyteens find a use for it by using it to mod in soyjaks and make a game based off of the "Engine"
Making it open source could help with that but I'd rather just make modding support for it or something. That way even if you hate FPE and think that my game will never be soy culture, you can make it soy culture. I am somewhat keen on giving the game a soy easter egg, maybe a mode where I am the main character, having to survive these evil soyed jacks telling me to stop making my game geg.

Again though we have to like waaiitt!!! because thats gonna take like ages to do idk this project might take a long time!!!

That concept of victory through a determined, steadfast will, enabled by the enlightenment of this will's capability, revealed by the player to Engel, reminds me a bit of "CHIM" as it's described in The Elder Scrolls, where a consciousness becomes aware that its own existence forms a pitiably tiny part of an unreachable, larger plane (in the case of T.E.S, the rest of the consciousness of the Godhead that Mundus, that particular realm of existence, sits within, is this unreachable, larger plane), but, rather than shriveling up from this revelation, the properly-enlightened consciousness maintains its individuality and instead acts to forge its own importance regardless of the constraints that it lives in. Basically, in the case of Engel, he as a created entity lacks a soul as we see it, but through the soul-inhabited player's direction of him to this ardent resolve of overcoming his eternal torture, he gains purpose within the constraint of his existence, fulfilling his consciousness through a reward of satisfaction from struggle and victory. I'd say it'll certainly make for a great story for your game.
 
All this talk about the plot reminds me of 2 key movies:
The LEGO Movie (addmitedly, it's just a big advert, but i love it)
Free Guy (an AI in a video game that achives sentience, i'd reccomend you watch it)
