Tbh i wish a centralized FPE forum website existed, that would be so much better than the over one hundred FPE Discords, old people communities like GoldSrc and Carmageddon modding got this right with their dedicated websites and wiki domains, so why can't FPE have a forum/blogsite or even an FPEbooru?

Yeah but community forums like the examples shown here are much more centralized and accessable than Discords, don't you get what i'm saying?

nobody in the “FPE” fandom will use a forum like this, they probably haven’t even heard of a forum and struggle to use reddit.
the schlog is my home im not a fan of fpe culture im a fan of soy culture of which fpe becomes a part of unless it is annexed or something like that in which case it's no longer soy culture and i stop talking about it because this isn't the home for it. as long as the schlog is allowed to host fpe and NAS related discussions, i will talk about it on the schlog, the schlog is my home, it is my #1 and only socialization site, i will not settle for another forum outside of the schlog unless the schlog is down or dead forever.

Woah dude, i wasn't trying to convince you to agree with some plan you thought i had, it was just me expressing an idea, i'm not saying i want to actually make something like that and force you to use it, just stop overestimating my autisim since that was just a thought that crossed my mind.

but incase you are, theres plenty of open source forum software which i recommend you try out and report back to me, i might make my own forum or maybe even an anonymous altchan just for discussing my games because i dont like the idea of people liking my games and then making cords and subreddits for them, you will congregate in the way that I want you to do so, etc. idk if my games will ever get so popular but just incase they do people deserve a way of contacting me and hey even popular mods like SMod back in the day had forums for this purpose.

I'm suprised you actually consider FPE sharty culture, that makes sense in a way, it certainly has had it strides and has made it's impacts on the website, even the schlog too (100,000 GET)
Yeah just don't take it too seriously like you did first time i introduced the idea, but then again i needed to provide more innyhe way of context anyway, i think you were thinking of an FPE themed anonymous imageboard which tbh sounds like a disaster.

its more like /qa/ culture but the way i see it is that you can discuss almost anything on the sharty and the schlog, making it a part of sharty culture in some way. since sharty culture ultimately is about being inspired and taking in good things while keeping bad things out, things such as zellig have become part of sharty culture and the likes, in the end though, i wouldn't have found fpe if it wasnt for people like you talking about it in soysphere spaces. so i guess maybe it does have it's sticking power, in a sense, because these things cannot be forced, you know.

It's in our nature to be obsessed over cute and cool things outside of our native culture and share them with others
ultimately soy culture has a lot more to do with drawing 'jaks and IAS and partaking in the dramas that occur on the site and the various plotlines with users and people, etc, than it does with liking a videogame or something like that. i just consider FPE and zellig to be like a uhhh, like uhh a friend to soy cutlure, like a condiment to soy culture, its on the side, its not the main focus but people still talk about it and you can't force people not to talk about it, if that makes any sense.
making a full fpe forum would be something i could see kaaatie doing xherself, but a fan made wiki exists i guess so its more in the hands of fans i guess.
as for me, literally anything is better than discord and i thank the schlog for easing me into forum culture which is cool as hell, its also quite smaller which i find to be better than some place like kiwifarms or other obscure forum sites. we need to move away from people using cord for everything, its quite disgusting and i like having a platform to express my political views and my world viewpoint freely without getting censored, banned or ostracized.

honestly yeah, you can't really stop people from talking about their interests in things. people often remark about how the sharty used to just be a place to post soyjaks and stuff but now its very much like an alternate 4chan for zoomers who are fed up with porn, albeit nate existed for quite a while, didn't it? but even then, efforts at banning a lot of stuff were fruitless and people kind of naturally just end up talking about random shit they like regardless of how they got there because they still need a home i guess, they need a platform to talk on.
