I usually wasn't bothered by ads on YouTube until recently, been using it since 2011 or so. It's fucking awful if you're using a TV/streaming box (in my case an Xbox) to watch videos since they go all-out on the ads with those, more than the desktop and mobile versions by a lot. I've gotten 60-second unskippable ads at least a dozen times now, and they try to justify it by putting a little box in the corner that says "Fewer ad breaks for this long video"... which is fucking pathetic since it's even happened on 10-15 minute videos. Most of the time I just stop watching the video entirely if I get one of those, it's not worth my time.

Seems like they don't understand why people initially flocked from cable TV to JewTube. Hell, at least cable TV doesn't have commercials AND product/service promotions in the actual fucking program itself.
