Would the sharty be gemmier if Soyjak blog was shut down and everyone forced to the sharty?

Soyjak.party is by far the deadest nigger to have ever died.
Sage.

This is the only way someone can make me use the sharty, and i still wouldn't use it that much. Imageboards are just so clunky.

Soytranny fail.

I remember a while back calling for Soysphere unity, so that us blognamecacas dont look down on anonymous chuds from our ivory tower. I refuse to buy into our own superiority as a website, and I believe that the two sites can and should be bonded closer together. Maybe there's some way to incentivize Blogcacas back on the Party? On here we're brewing slowburn gems like servers, mods, and gemmy discussion, so I think the Sharty needs to prioritize fastburn more. First idea that comes to my mind is 'jakking competitions on /soy/, a la somethingawful's photoshop fridays.
Dream on Stephen! But don't let your idea's be forgotten.

One of the biggest issues with the sharty is classic imageboard reply/thread spam. Nobody wants to dig through a mountian of shit to get a taste of good stuff. We come to the sharty to fuck around and entertain eachother, not struggle to communicate anything meaningful in a room crowded with stimming dariuses. Spam is a disadvantage of the mostly advantagous medium of imageboards for this kind of community. If you want an imageboard to not hemorage users, you have to regulate the spam to where the catalog is legible, and the good threads stay at the top of the log.
Forums are inhospitable to spamming, which, apart from namefagging is one of the most attractive aspects of this site. This site is dedicated to discussion, and there is always someone on here discussing something interesting. Meanwhile, the spam has scared anyone who wants to discuss anything that is not shitposting or bait off of the sharty, because all of those threads get no replies or maybe a few before they are bumped off by all the threadspam or are mechanically derailed by things like dotspam.

While namefagging is alluring I much prefer an imageboard where everyone can express unpopular opinions without being accountable, thus doing a lot of work to prevent echochambering and reputationally motivated disingenuity that ruins most clearnet discourse. But I think people moreso come here because the sharty is not just bad quality in a subjective sense, but is objectively unusable due to catalog and index and reply bloat spam.

tsmt. I don't like how /soy/ currently works with all the spam and everything but i can't really do much.
I like spam when it's funny. It feels artificial and boring these last few days.
Lennonspam, muttspam and colorjak spam were funny, especially the mini wars that come from it. But frootcord has to intervene in everything that happens among the userbase these days and it makes it GAY
Yeah, i don't like it too. The website needs to become more autonomous for it to grow and less reliant on the staff doing the work. Teens' need to do shit themselves i think.
