The booru is nearly its own culture and serves a purpose the imageboard can't. Soyjak.blog is made up of quality users who decided they were too good for the sharty one day.

I remember a while back calling for Soysphere unity, so that us blognamecacas dont look down on anonymous chuds from our ivory tower. I refuse to buy into our own superiority as a website, and I believe that the two sites can and should be bonded closer together. Maybe there's some way to incentivize Blogcacas back on the Party? On here we're brewing slowburn gems like servers, mods, and gemmy discussion, so I think the Sharty needs to prioritize fastburn more. First idea that comes to my mind is 'jakking competitions on /soy/, a la somethingawful's photoshop fridays.

A more realistic solution, the issue is, basically everything you can do on the blog that is argued "unique" to it, you can do on boards that are not /soy/ or /qa/ on sharty, which kind of leeches from the soysphere's rome PPH.

I'm always oddly so surprised when people here share the same sentiment as me when it comes to hating soyjak.clitty in its current state. Being some nigger from June 2022, I feel like I'm more qualified than most people here about commenting on the site's utter decomposition over the past 18 months or so. It's the quintessential online "ghost town" - technically active, but everything feels so artificial and empty that it makes you wonder if most of its users are even human. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they're all bots. Like many here have said, OC (and not even low quality stuff, things that took effort) usually just gets ignored, pushed off the catalog with maybe one or two spam replies. The few raids that happen these days (or really just attempts at raids) are poorly orchestrated and the thread getting hijacked by Discords is literally a given now. Speaking of Discord, it successfully cemented itself as an integral part of the site's culture long ago - first because of infamy/fear, but later on genuinely being something that a sizable majority of the site's users tolerate/even use themselves.
Not really in the mood to keep writing about SNCA but fuck Froot and his cronies. They took a mortally wounded, seizuring entity and stomped the remaining life out of it, and then they stomped on its corpse.
