i use windows 10, would still use windows 7 if only microsoft didn't start forcing some shit onto developers making pretty much everything drop support for it

I used to use windows 7 from 2009 until janurary of 2024 now I have a neu pc with debloated windows 10, will use it for equally as long then switch to linux mint

Linux mint supports more modern software then windows 7 i think and I think you could theorically use a windows 7 theme and I think linux mint is supported you can use wine to run windows stuff like windows 7 programs i think

you could also make a windows 7 vm in linux mint if you want to experience windows 7 btw

I don't really care to emulate the aesthetic since if I want to I can swivel my chair to the right and use the aformentioned pc from 2009 as it's now my media pc hooked up to a tv

I just want the other 2 ones (institution/business pcs thrown out) to work, all hardware is gud but software is not
