• Happy pride month, xisters of the schlog!

why is everyone on this website either extremely fat or extremely malnourished

Body shaming isn’t just rude—it’s damaging. Whether it’s about weight, height, skin, or any other physical trait, making someone feel bad about their body can have serious consequences.

🔴 It Affects Mental Health
Body shaming contributes to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and eating disorders. Words stick, and they can deeply impact someone’s confidence.

⚠️ It’s Rooted in Unrealistic Standards
Social media and beauty industries push unrealistic body ideals, making people feel like they need to fit a mold that doesn’t even exist. No one’s worth should be measured by their appearance.

💙 Bodies Change—And That’s Okay
People gain and lose weight, age, and go through changes due to health conditions, stress, or life events. Judging someone for their body ignores the fact that everyone’s journey is different.

✅ What to Do Instead

  • Compliment people for who they are, not just how they look.
  • Encourage healthy habits without making it about appearance.
  • Stand up against body shaming when you see it.
Respect is free. Spread kindness instead. 💙
