When the ban list was made private instead of public it was met with widespread negativity among the Schlog. In these various paragraphs i will tell you why this change was unnecessary and why we should at least be given a chance at redemption alongside the revival of the ban list.

Firstly, we must understand that the ban list was removed on the basis that it was a source for internal drama according to jannies, but i believe that this claim isn't very well thought out when you consider the Ban Megathread (courtesy of @Xiuhcoyotl). The banned users list was hidden from us due to it's association with the Ban Megathread which was the ACTUAL source of all the drama relating to banned users on the Schlog, it just happened to use the banned users list as a means to produce more drama, which ended up jeopardizing the ban lists visibility and accessibility, before the banned users list was used like this there was far less drama over banned users due to there being an absence of a ban megathread.

I belive that a staff member of power, wether that would be DOLL or Mustard, should reinstate the thread under one condition: That members of the Schlog don't get into flamewars and debacles over banned users and meta drama, and if they wish to conversate about banned users, keep their discussion civil instead of preaching:
>FREE MY NIGGUH HE DIDNDU NUFFIN FREE MY NIGGUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHH

Becuase apparently this world hates gigachads :(

shit no one should care about
just talk to them about it once they are back from their forced time-out
I like your insights, but we must understand that bringing back the banned users list would help us build trust amongst the moderation, just in case users get unfairly unbanned.

sure I get the theory, but in practice it will just result in teens sperging out
users that feel marginalized or persecuted should just formulate their reasons into a statement upon their return on a thread or smth instead of on banned user threads that have no concrete aim or purpose. it will devolve into meaningless gossip instead of a fruitful inquiry especially since the autist timed out isnt even there to argue his case in real time alongside or against the community
from there userbase userbase will form two or more camps with different perspectives
im sure consensus can be reached on acceptable punishment from there
