Even if that number is true, he just says "500 people saw it," not exactly giving us much to work with it. That's like if I said it's stupid how not all christians became mormon because 8 people testified to seeing Joseph Smith's golden plates. 500 witnesses, 8 witnesses or x amount of witnesses doesn't really hold up well
