I'd assume Hispanic nationalists hate them because they were conquered by spanish and portuguese medbvlls but they can't hate them because they speak their languages, therefore they set their eyes on the next country which is Italy.
Italians also helped discover the Americas (America is named after an Italian explorer), and that may be another reason.
