I deal with this, and it is indeed, as least in my case, because of low self-esteem and mental illness. I miss being a toddler/baby, because I practically had no concept of self-awareness or embarrassment, and I was just living in the world, happy and free. I remember one incident when I was a toddler, and at daycare. They wanted to put us to sleep, because it was nap time, and they then started playing a song about “your mama putting you to sleep”. I fucking lost it. I started crying and sobbing so hard (mind you I was like less than 5 years old at the time) because I realized, even in my underdeveloped young brain, that this wasn’t going to last forever. I wouldn’t always be this kid that everybody had high hopes for. I wouldn’t always be a “precious baby”. This even carries over into my sexual fantasies, as my “fantasies” while I’m trying to sleep are usually being cuddled or cared for by a loving, understanding partner. It will never happen. And once I realized that my fantasies will most likely never happen due to the crushing reality of life, I became depressed and suicidal. I am forever trapped in a state of trying to recapture my infancy.

I this idealization of being a child/infant stems from the crushing burden that is placed upon the backs of young men in this current system. Men are demonized by the media for exhibiting stereotypically masculine characteristics, but when they attempt to adopt feminine characteristics, they’re accused of being “nice-guys” or “soy”. Men in this era of liberal decay simply cannot win the culture war. This is part of a larger plot by the main-stream media and oligarchs to divide the working class by pitting against each other in wars of culture, when the real war should be fought between oligarchs and the common man. Whether you are trans, cis, black, gay, white, asian, straight, etc. you should not be concerned with fighting minorities. Minorities are not the reason for your economic troubles, or societal decay. The true people in power, the real cabal, is the lobbyists, ultra-rich, and social-policy focused politicians. Do not fall for the lies of snakes who claim they represent the working class, then suppress that very same class.
