What soyteen liker said, but the internet is majorly responsible for the ADHD and Autism
ADHD: Short form content majorly, but just algorithmic feeds of content tuned to you in general have the same effect as an addictive drug in causing dopamine burnouts. Porn also applies for this too. In general, the word we are looking for here is Supernormal Stimulus. Supernormal stimulation being constantly fed to you with a team of computer programs digesting every bit of information they can get from your interactions with the internet and tailoring a constant neverending buffet of Supernormal Stimuli specifically for you that is conveyor belted into your mouth. Humans did not evolve to be entertained this much this easily and this specifically to their ever changing tastes. Your brain does something called hedonic adaptation, which is fancy for saying your brain doesn't want you to be in a state of amazing euphoric wonder and excitement for any long amount of time. The grug who didn't do hedonic adaptation would settle for what he had easily, and not feel the need to compete and get more and do better to get that drip feed of contentness from advancing, and what would happen is that Grug's wife would see Obunga, who DID have hedonic adaptation not settling with what he had and thus advancing further and becoming a better mate than Grug, so his wife leaves him for her BVLL Obunga and no hedonic adaptation grug doesn't get to pass his genes. Anyways, Santa's workshop manditory interacial cuckholdry reference aside, the supernormal stimuli bring your contentness level expectations way higher than what everyday life can live up to, leaving you constantly, discontent, and addicted to novelty that only the content buffet can give you.
AUTISM: What happens when you link everyone in the world to instantly communicate? Everybody gets a wealth of other people who share their niche interests with. If you are raised on the internet especially, you never really the pressure to adapt to common local interests in order to not be alone in your interests, which is what people had to do for all of history until like 20 years ago. This, combined with the rise of the idea that we are all so heckin speshul and unique, leads to nobody having anything in common and not being able to socialize with people who don't share at least one or two specific interests with them, which is most people.
FURTHERMORE:CHILDHOOD ISOLATION
This is an extremely huge contributer/cause of high functioning (IE being a sperg) autisim. Basically, heavy decay of societal trust, due to things like mass imigration, ethnic melting pots, sensationalization of predators by the news media, etc, made parents extremely overprotective of their children. To develop correctly, especially social delvelopment and development of the roots for the independency that will make them functional adults, a child needs to be let outdoors to go explore their town/city and socialize with other children and adults. As a kid, have you ever had an old person grumble that "you darn kids need to go outside and do something with your lives!"? Well thats because when they were young thats what they did all day, their parents let them Believe in the magic of christmas! all day as long as they were back by dinner, so much of the psychological development into an adult a child goes through happens when they are out forging their own path alone with their friends like this. Now, for the last couple generations, most parents are deathly afraid of letting their kids go beyond their property, they feel that if their kid goes beyond their reach, they will inevatably be dragged into the candy van or run over by someone. So kids are forced to stay home, they can only go out and explore the world with a chaperone, and they can only socialize with people their age at school, where socialization is discouraged, or if they convince a parent to bring one kid or the other to one of their houses to hang out. What you get out of this, is young adults who are still utterly dependent and glued to their parents and have a few real friends, if they are lucky. This brings about the socially challenged nature that is often used to diagnose autism, and also heavily pressures the children to use the internet to escape the total social isolation and boredom of spending your entire childhood at home, school, and with a chaperone on the road between home and school. This breeds internet addicts, and as we went over already, being an internet addict breeds autism and adhd.
