If you draw or like art at all you've probably noticed that most of the discussion and people who produce art on social media are the most debaucherous pedoniggers imaginable, think most targets of /raid/ for example. And makes it impossible to engage in if you're a normal person who just enjoys art as a hobby or craft. why does it matter? It makes its hard to improve or get feedback when all the people who draw at the same level or better the most vile turbospergs imaginable.

Artists you see online unless its for your niche interest and you are combing the internet for all art of it you can find are likely the ones who attention whore the hardest. Attention whoring usually betrays an attention and fame/validation starved person. Such people are not hesitant to give people what they want. What is most wanted out of art online is porn, OCs, anime girls, memes, and fanart of peoples favorite niche media. I'm saying there is more of a "market" both in attention and money online for base slop art. Base as in lowly junk food to consoom passively that is embarrasing to normal people AND is often low effort "content" that can be shit out at the brisk pace required for relevancy on the internet. I'm talking your waifufag art, your porn, your scrimbo bing bing wahoo fanart, your shitty viral minimalistic webcomics like fallenchungus, memes like soyjaks even, streamerbait videogames. I fucking hate that stupid ps1 ass garbage coal. Its not an aesthetic its a time and effort saving formula for lazy people to shit out "games" that are "SOOO scary" or "SOOOOOOO deep bro!"
Bitter seething ranting about things I don't like being bad aside, I think the reason art attracts so many freaks is that it is the main currency of freaks on the internet. If you look on the gooner threads or 4chan in general as well as twitter, they literally live off of their anime art. Its how they communicate. Kind of like how we literally live off of soyjaks as a community and use them as our secondary method of communication. Also all of this internet art is autistic as fuck. Sex freaks belong to spergs, in fact they make up quite a lot of (at least in terms of vocality) the sperg population.

High School 'eens... Is high school getting more filled with internet troonslop? When I was in highschool there was a retarded girl that was 3/4 legs and 1/4 everything else who constantly carried around both a chrome book and a bootleg metaton plushie everywhere she went. She was also really fucking annoying and would play undertale music very loudly on it if I remember correctly
