• Happy pride month, xisters of the schlog!

which consoles do you have

- Nintendo 64
- Gamecube
- Gameboy Advance SP
- DS Phat, DS Lite
- DSi XL
- Wii
- """New""" 3DS XL
- Wii U
- Switch 1
- Switch 2

- PS3
- PS4

- Original Xbox
- Xbox 360
- Xbox One S
- Xbox Series X

I might have more sitting around. Most of these I obtained either for really cheap off of eBay, or, got from family members who used to use their consoles but no longer do so. For Xbox 360 S, I obtained it with a 320GB HDD, in practically perfect condition, for $30. I had to get the wires and a controller, but that was still under $40. Not to mention the games are as little as $1 and usually don't go above $20. PS3 I also got for cheap, two of them actually, Phat albeit not CECHA01 so I'll keep hunting (also they're both broken, so I'll have to fix them).

I have considered learning how to repair hardware, and do stuff like soldering and desoldering, as I could likely fix tons of the broken consoles on eBay, or at the very least harvest them for parts. It may make good money, especially if I go for PS4 or Xbox One where I can still charge like $200 if it looks like it is in Mint Condition but not have to pay much to get one that's """broken""" from normgoys.

The only consoles I actually own:
  • Nintendo DS
  • Nintendo Wii (broken)
These are in my house but I don't own them, so I barely or have never used them:
  • Nintendo GameCube
  • Nintendo 3DS
  • Nintendo Switch
  • Nintendo Switch Lite
  • PlayStation 3
However when playing video games I only really use PC, which I don't do often as I'm not a gamer.

I collected video game consoles when I was a kid. I have (off of the top of my head):

Super Nintendo Entertainment System

Nintendo GameCube

Nintendo Game Boy

Nintendo Game Boy Color

Nintendo Game Boy Advance (and Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP) with e-Reader

Nintendo Virtual Boy

Nintendo DS (and Nintendo DSi)

Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo Wii

Sega Genesis

Sega CD

Sega 32X

Sega Dreamcast

Sega Game Gear

Atari 2600

Panasonic 3DO

Some Pioneer LaserActive PAC modules (but not the LaserActive itself)

Microsoft Xbox 360

I only have the dusty PS2 that i had ever since i was a kid. Consoles are for soyboys anyways because i can always play better games on my computer where i also can work, watch videos, read books etc. Oh and i did i mention that i can do it for free?

A PC is almost like an XBOX at this point, plays the same games if you shill for an XBOX subscription. Don't really see the need for consoles anymore.
