Basically, that was how I ended up here.

I watched a lot of wojak/frog videos on youtube starting around 2021 so it's inevitable I come across soyjak content, but I didn't know about the existence of the sharty until SPVA. The lingo and inside jokes were quite endearing, especially when you encounter them in unrelated places, there's a strange sense of camaraderie to be found in that. I followed SPVA and other soyphere creators in 2023 but it wasn't until earlier this year that I finally decided to actually visit the sharty; it's quite underwhelming, actually. I discovered the schlog by accident, and joined because I find forums nostalgic.

I'll always associate the soysphere with Youtube. It's only funny when you know you're surrounded by people who think your soyjacks are incomprehensible.

How was it like?
My memory of the soot era is fuzzy but i remember /a/ getting spammed with troonjaks frequently, browsing the impjak adventure thread, a raid thread on a "nazi" tranime imageboard operation soyclipse i thought the site was dead just like every other altchan so i left in mid 2022 then came back in early 2023.

Oh you're asking what it feels like I'd say the sharty back then was at its golden age there were more raids and ocs the soot era was chaotic while in the kuz era it felt like the sharty was a big and powerful raiding and doxing force

It was one of two things and I can't remember which came first
I found out about the soy initially through BogTube because of an Aussie explaining to me where the different soyjaks spawned in the world and I thought 'hmm, okay, interesting."
I also remember that I may have indirectly stumbled upon Ongezellig before getting into the soyosphere, but I'm not entirely sure
Finally, I started using Soyjak.Party because of allchans.org literally right before Doll became the leader of the 'arty
Also, as a sidenote, I didn't start using 4chan until 2022ish.

I didn't start using 4chan until 2022ish.

I actually got banned repeatedly because when I did start posting I was already apart of the soyosphere, I kept wanting to mention/post 'jaks and participate in raids and at that time I didn't know about the wordfilter and how much people seethed over them.

4cuck migrant, site just wasn't fun, too rulecucked. Went from board to board but it was all shit (/g/ /r9k/ /fit/), found SPVA and saw ShreddedNerd's video on Soy lore, decided to immigrate after I was actually having fun for the first time in ages.
