What kind of dollar store peace includes people being bombed? I'm no fan of anyone in the middle east but what is happening to the palestinians is barbaric, same goes to all the third world shitholes invaded by the united states for dubious-at-best reasons. I can't call that peaceful, nor the war in ukraine or relatively recent conflicts we had in the Balkans. And on the topic of the ukraine war, a threat of escalation into the baltics by Russia is a real possibility, trying NATO basically. As far as I'm concerned the massive immigration problems that are turning these "1st world countries" into shitholes isn't exactly within the purview of "peace" either. If your idea of "ongoing peace" is just formal peace between Russia and USA then that's some very dubious peace if you ask me

Well for one you make a grand display of moral outrage over one conflict, then make light of and minimize the other saying it's irrelevant or not worth caring about. No one said the entire world was at war, just that there isn't "ongoing peace". In fact, there's neigh constant conflict. Wars in the middle east and more recently eastern europe. But I guess them not being on your doorstep makes them not count towards the criteria of "global peace", with the said globe consisting entirely of your bedroom, apparently.
