Hedonism is self destructing and leads to no true life.
Its subjective and whatever you make it; The Meaning of life is searching for meaning of life.

Well, the man who wrote the Book of Ecclesiastes asks a very similar question. He asks to himself, "What is our purpose?" Why live if all there is to live is what has an end? You can live with as much stuff as possible. You can garner up your wealth, and your women, and your wisdom, and you can smile for all that you live, but all that you will live will still be futile vanity for as long as the world is mortal, so why live a life of temporaries? Well, as one might already be thinking, why not think of what isn't mortal? What lasts for all time, eternally? Hmm... I'd say I know a fellow, and His name is God. You see, what only can not perish is He, that who created us, and by creating us, He gives us value, because, in the simplest explanation, we're something to Him, and since it's His universe, and He makes the rules and guides all things and concepts and properties, we have that value because He values us. Why have value, however? Well, to have value, we need to have a purpose, of course, which is what we're looking for by asking this question of life's purpose, and this purpose, therefore, would need to come from The Creator's intention, since He made us. A tool would be junk if its creator made it to not do anything, after all. So, why did The Lord make us, then? What purpose do we have to Him? As is said by Him, we were made in His image, so to reflect the image He made us in, we are to, therefore, praise God, and glorify Him in all things. This probably sounds like a really general response, so we then have to ask, what does it mean to glorify our Creator, The Lord God? Well, God's original intention with glorifying Him was that we could just do it on our own, as we were to be sinless and with Him, but because we have fallen, and have inherited a fallen universe that is sinful, we are sinful, so we can only glorify God through reuniting our souls with Him by doing what is still within our will and ability to praise Him; by trusting in Christ as that who has lived perfectly and who sacrificed His life to take what we would suffer for so that we can be with God again. Don't just believe of Him, but in Him. Trust Him and what He has said. In, therefore, praising God, who is Christ Jesus, and letting His commandments guide our lives, we can find purpose, for a life without Him will forever question itself in the blind darkness of the temporary world, but by connecting ourselves to the eternal, we too can live eternally, where an entire paradise of joy and meaning eternal waits for us.
