I understand that troons forced them into doing this in the 2024 remaster, what I didn't understand (until Steve explained it to me) was why would've they done such thing in the original Japanese 2004 release, since the English versions had to remove it themselves (which was absolutely keyed btw)

I genuinely think Portal is shorter than Oneshot is, it only took me two hours for my first clear as opposed to three for Oneslop. I always say Portal 1 is a tech demo because of this because its just extremely short, almost unacceptably so.
