The reason I ask this question is to demonstrate the connections between Indo-European language group, as compared to outsiders. In Arabic, the word is "La'a"

No is "Hayır" in Turkish which is a shortened form of the Persian نخیر which is a contracted form of "نه خیر" which literally means "not good" but is a formal way to say "No" in Persian
